The Two Wonders of the World
The Qin Dynasty was responsible for a couple wonders of the world. And they are some very amazing one indeed. They began construction under the power of emperor Qin Shi Huang.
They began the construction of the Great Wall of China in about 220 B.C. But they could not finish in the short time that the Qin Dynasty was around . The wall was finished in later dynasties that had yet to come. When the wall was all said and done, it was Big. The wall wasn't just big, it was BIG. The with all of it's branches, made up of the actual wall itself, trenches, and natural barriers (Such as rivers and Hills) Stretched out to be about 13,000 miles! The walls purpose was really to hold of any threat that was foolish enough to appose the gigantic empire.
The other wonder of the world that they built was the Terracotta Army. This enormous army was built out of yellow clay. This clay was very common around rivers and farming soil. The Terracotta Army was made of over 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots, and 600 horses. The point of this was, since the Chinese people believed in the afterlife, they hoped these warriors would protect them in the afterlife.
